Two fillies, Nipissing and Spring in the Air, appear to have excellent chances in the Queen’s Plate at Woodbine Sunday, and one common denominator in their pedigrees is Unbridled. The latter is the sire of Nipissing’s sire, the late Niigon, and of Spring in the Air’s dam, Unbridled Run. The two were 1-2 in the Woodbine Oaks on June 9, with Nipissing on top, and the final time of the nine-furlong race was faster than that of the Plate Trial for colts on the same day, one race earlier.
