Trying to build on his July 18 comeback race at Bratislava in Slovakia a month ago, Overdose, the Hungarian sprint sensation who is undefeated in 13 career starts and co-owned by five Hungarian corporations, races in front of a partisan crowd Sunday in a Listed Hungarian 1000-meter race designed to ready him for a German Group sprint a few weeks later. Gary Hind will once again ride the Hungarian national icon but Christophe Soumillon is booked to ride in Germany if all is successful tomorrow. The 5-year-old lost a shoe on his near fore during a workout this week. His brittle feet have limited him to only two starts over the last two seasons, and his comeback from very serious foot issues is remarkable. He descends in tail-male to the brilliant but equally brittle Nureyev. Click here to see his first start of this year.
