Montjeu blog examines career of M. Kinane by the stallions
Victor Sheahan is a cost accountant who moonlights as a pedigree analyst in Ireland. He also is a featured expert at ematings.com (where you can read his complete biographical profile) and the author of one of the best racing/breeding blogs I’ve encountered, Montjeu.com.
Victor’s latest post examines the work of the recently retired Mick Kinane, who ended his distinguished career as the rider of Sea the Stars. Victor’s account of Mick’s career, however, is not a standard issue, obit-style rendering; rather, he examines the rider by the quality of the eventual stallions that he rode and pumps life into what is usually the most deadly (boring) type of piece. Now, it’s a can’t-turn-off-the-‘puter post. Click here to read it, because it may actually be the best barometer for predicting the future success of his greatest ride — STS.
