Frank Mitchell is a journalist-turned-blogger, and I’m going to take some credit for the transformation because I suggested he blog after his departure this year from a regular gig at Daily Racing Form (he still does the occasional article). I can’t take any credit for Frank’s transformation from a proper paper writer — he’s a PhD., you know? — to an internet virtuoso, but I think that Daily Racing Form editor Rich Rosenbush can. Why? Because, Frank’s no longer straight-jacketed by the constraints of paper journalism under the direction of a former New York Times newspaperman. Enjoy Frank free-styling at his blog bloodstock in the bluegrass. His take on synthetics and racing is right on the mark; his follow-up to my post on Twitter and new media is far more entertaining and persuasive; and his comments on epigenetics had me chuckling long after I’d read them. Get over to Frank’s place ASAP!
