I left a comment on the blog you linked to, but have a question for you Sid–if Black Caviar is bred to Frankel not long after Royal Ascot, would the timing skew the chance of the foal being born in a month appropriate to racing in AUS? Correct me if I’m wrong–I am not 100% clear on when the ‘annual birthday’ is for AUS horses (as January 1 is for those foaled in the northern hemisphere).
