Trainer Aidan O’Brien trained the 1-2-3 in the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby for Coolmore, but the farm’s flagship sire, Galileo, had the first two home in winner Treasure Beach and runner-up Seville. Galileo is in the midst of a memorable classic season with four individual Guineas winners, headed by the undefeated Frankel. The Queen’s Carlton House, third to Treasure Beach and winner Pour Moi in the Epsom Derby, finished fourth. Coolmore owns Pour Moi, a son of Montjeu trained in France by Andre Fabre. Both Derby winners are products of Sadler’s Wells/Darshaan.
