Osman Hattat’s homebred Anatoly won the Gazi Derby (Turkish Derby) at Veliefendi in Istanbul today. By Red Bishop, Anatoly covered the 2400 meters on turf in 2:27.83. The colt, who entered the Derby (which qualifies for international black type) off a second in a Group 3 race at 2200 meters, has now won four of six starts.
