What a day for Khalid Abdulla’s Juddmonte Farms at Royal Ascot today! The green silks were 1-2 in the Group 1 feature, the Prince of Wales’s Stakes, with the Andre Fabre-trained Byword outfinishing the Henry Cecil-trained Twice Over, both homebreds. But Juddmonte’s influence was evident in the other stakes races, too. Rainfall, by Juddmonte sire Oasis Dream, won the Group 3 Jersey Stakes. Strawberrydaiquiri, by Juddmonte stallion Dansili, won the Group 2 Windsor Forest Stakes. And Juddmonte homebred Timepiece won the Listed Sandringham Handicap.
